A town heavy with whispers, a past steeped in mystery, where deception lingers in the air, and the truth is never all it seems.
Neither theatre nor game, yet something of both, The Secrets of Barrenbrook blends interactive storytelling with social deduction and no two performances will ever be the same.
Strangers gather. A community forms. Some will watch. Others will lead. Every glance could be a clue, and every choice could change your fate.
What secrets will surface as Barrenbrook’s lore unfolds around you?
The lanterns are lit. The stage is set. Bring your friends, your curiosity, and maybe a little caution, for this is an experience you’ll never forget.
This production touches on themes of death and contains occasional references to gore.

What is it?

The Secrets of Barrenbrook is an interactive storytelling experience that pushes the boundaries of gaming and theatre to build a new story with a community of villagers, different every night.

You’ll get storytelling, theatre and a night of social deduction, where no two performances are the same.

Can you save the villagers from a ghastly fate? As the story unfolds, you decide the outcome as the audience becomes bound together with secrets, lies and revelations.

Inspired by the classic social deduction and deception game Werewolf, The Secrets of Barrenbrook is more than just a performance, it’s a mystery where you shape the events which unfold and then watch as the story plays out to your devilish plan.

Whether you want to be at the heart of the action, or you’d prefer to watch from the shadows, you’ll leave with a story to tell for years to come.
