🎄 Volunteer Shout-Out for Stranraer Christmas Light Switch-On! 🎄
Are you ready to help bring the magic of Christmas to Stranraer? 🎅✨ We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to join us for this year’s Christmas Light Switch-On, organised with Stranraer Community Council and supported by the Stranraer Millennium Centre. Whether you can lend a hand for a few hours or stay for the whole day, your support will make a huge difference to our community celebration!
Volunteering Perks:
- Free Lunch – We’ll provide lunch to keep you energised and warm! 🍲
- Meet New People – Volunteering is a great way to connect with others who share a passion for our community.
- Skill-Building – Gain valuable experience in event support, teamwork, and customer service.
- Spread Holiday Cheer – Help create unforgettable memories for our community and kick off the festive season! 🎉
Volunteers will be helping with:
- Setting up the safety area and structures 🎁
- Welcoming families and visitors helping them to navigate their way 🌟
- Supporting activities and ensuring everything runs smoothly 🎄
- People movement
- The safe arrival of the Santa Float
- Packing down at the end of the event 🎉
